Slovak Post Office decided to buy from the NAGLER company an ATM model N-714 selling the automatic labels. Many world's post offices are equipped with NAGEL-ATMs, e.g. German, Hungarian, Swiss, Macao, Luxembourg, Hongkong and others. The machine represents top German technology well known especially for its reliability and quality. The advantage of the ATM is that the customer doesn't have to wait in a long queue for posting one or two standard letters.
The academic painter Miroslav Cipár is the author of the stamp design. The stamp represents a stylish blue&yellow envelope with Slovak Post Office logo and inscription SLOVAKIA on it. The size of the ATM is 43 x 25,5 mm and it is printed on a valuable paper using the offset print technology with the safety elements against the forgery. The machine prints the nominal value using a special ink and it offers to choose the nominal value from the tariffs: 5.50SK, 6SK, 7SK, 9SK, 10SK, 12SK, 13SK, and 14SK.
The automatic machine for selling franking labels is placed in the Bratislava 1 Post Office.
